F1 revolves round Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a veteran Formula One driver who makes a comeback to the game after a 30-year hiatus. Sonny is introduced again into the world of Formula One by his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes (performed by Javier Bardem), who now owns a struggling F1 workforce. The movie additionally stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Sarah Niles.
