Hailed as the primary famous person of Kannada cinema, Saroja Devi debuted with the 1955 film Mahakavi Kalidasa. In Tamil, she starred alongside the nice actors of yesteryears — significantly the 2 high heroes, M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) and Sivaji Ganesan — and dominated the sphere for many years.
Though Saroja Devi largely navigated between Tamil and Kannada cinema, she made her presence felt significantly in Telugu cinema.
