BJP Leader R Ashoka alleged that those that honoured cricket gamers yesterday by donning turbans can not even come to put soil on the graves of the lifeless at the moment.

BJP chief R Ashoka on Thursday took a dig on the Siddaramaiah-led Congress authorities within the state alleging that those that celebrated by elevating the IPL trophy, went to airport and took selfies with the RCB staff is not going to go to houses of those that misplaced their lives within the stampede.

In a put up on ‘X’ the chief of opposition termed the Congress authorities “heartless” and shared footage from a felicitation ceremony held by state authorities in Vidhana Soudha for the RCB staff. In one of many footage, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was seen donning turban on Virat Kohli whereas in one other image, Deputy Chief Minister D Okay Shivakumar was seen lifting the IPL trophy received by RCB staff after a wait of 18 years.

“Those who celebrated yesterday by raising the trophy and taking photos will not come to support the families of the innocent people who died. Those who were happy yesterday when they went to the airport and took selfies will not go to the homes of the deceased today and shed tears,” he alleged.

Ashoka additional alleged that those that honoured cricket gamers yesterday by donning turbans and garlanding them can not even come to put soil on the graves of the lifeless at the moment. “The lives of ordinary people have no value for this heartless @INCKarnataka government,” he added.

He continued to reiterate his demand searching for resignation of Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar. According to Home Minister, G Parameshwara, 11 individuals have died and 56 have been injured within the stampede. Among the injured, 46 have gone again house after the therapy, whereas 10 are at hospital and their situation will not be severe in response to medical doctors, he added.
