Navy’s preparedness confirmed India’s maritime dominance throughout Operation Sindoor: Admiral Tripathi

Admiral Tripathi famous that Indian naval ships, submarines, and plane have been operationally prepared and deployed, exhibiting energy and preparedness to cope with any “potential actions” from Pakistan within the waters.

Addressing an investiture ceremony on the Nausena Bhawan in Delhi, the Indian Navy chief mentioned, “This rapid and measured response not only showcased our strategic reach and maritime dominance, but sent a clear message of resolve, forcing our adversary to plead for ceasefire, I would say, just in time.”

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) mentioned that India’s new method to terrorism, to deal with any such act as an act of conflict, “has added a new dimension to our operational outlook”.

“As we navigate an era filled with a complex and rapidly changing global security environment, the role of the Indian Navy is more critical than ever,” he mentioned.

The altering geopolitical panorama, together with the continued conflicts the world over, has significantly “increased the frequency, diversity and complexity of our task,” Admiral Tripathi mentioned.

He congratulated the awardees on the ceremony, terming the event a strong image of the Navy’s spirit of “courage under fire” and “unwavering commitment to service before self”.

Operation Sindoor

All three defence forces, the Army, the Navy and Air Force, joined arms to launch Operation Sindoor on May 7, to hold out focused strikes on 9 terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The army operation was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist assault.

The destroyed websites belonged to terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. Over 100 terrorists have been killed underneath Operation Sindoor.

Following the army operation, Pakistan tried to launch a retaliatory motion, with cross-border shelling and drone assaults throughout Jammu and Kashmir and different border areas.

However, many of the assaults have been thwarted by the Indian armed forces and the nation’s air defence system.

After 4 days of intense combating, India and Pakistan arrived at a ceasefire understanding on May 10.
