“As we navigate an era filled with a complex and rapidly changing global security environment, the role of the Indian Navy is more critical than ever,” he mentioned.

Operation Sindoor
All three defence forces, the Army, the Navy and Air Force, joined arms to launch Operation Sindoor on May 7, to hold out focused strikes on 9 terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The army operation was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist assault.

The destroyed websites belonged to terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. Over 100 terrorists have been killed underneath Operation Sindoor.
Following the army operation, Pakistan tried to launch a retaliatory motion, with cross-border shelling and drone assaults throughout Jammu and Kashmir and different border areas.
