
Bomb menace at Mumbai airport, one arrested, second hoax in two weeks
Mumbai Police arrested a 35-year-old man, Manjeet Kumar Gautam, from the MIDC house on Tuesday in reference to a bomb menace to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The police had earlier obtained a menace title claiming the airport might be blown up by 2 pm.

The Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested a 35-year-old man in reference to a bomb menace specializing in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The suspect, acknowledged as Manjeet Kumar Gautam, was taken into custody from the MIDC house and is being interrogated, officers acknowledged.
Earlier inside the day, the Mumbai police administration room obtained a cellphone title warning that the airport might be blown up by 2 pm. The airport premises had been utterly searched by police and bomb disposal teams, nevertheless nothing suspicious was found.
Gautam, initially from Uttar Pradesh, presently resides inside the Sakinaka house of Mumbai. A case has been registered in opposition to him, in step with a report by the Free Press Journal.
Second menace in two weeks
This marks the second bomb hoax involving Mumbai airport in as many weeks. Earlier this month, police obtained an e-mail claiming explosives had been planted on the airport and on the Taj Mahal Palace lodge. Both threats had been later declared false after in depth checks.
That e-mail had cited the “unjust hanging” of 2001 Parliament assault convict Afzal Guru and YouTuber Savukku Shankar—acknowledged for alleging corruption in politics and paperwork—as a result of the motive behind the threats.
