The Election Commission of India on Thursday issued a notification prohibiting the release of exit polls for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. The ban on exit polls will be in effect from 7 am on September 18 until 6:30 pm on October 5, the final day of polling.
