BENGALURU: The Cabinet assembly on Thursday will take a name on the suggestions made by Justice John Michael D’Cunha in his investigation report on alleged irregularities in Karnataka throughout Covid-19 pandemic, stated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The Covid-19 alleged irregularities report was submitted by Justice John Michael D’Cunha to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru on Saturday.
In a chat with reporters in Mysuru metropolis, Siddaramaiah stated he has not gone by way of the suggestions made by Justice D’Cunha in his report and the report can be positioned within the Cabinet assembly the place a call can be taken.
In reply to the previous minister for Health and Family Welfare Services D. Sudhakar that suggestions in D’Cunha report are politically motivated, Siddaramaiah stated “Nobody knows the recommendations in the report” and questioned “How did he (Sudhakar) come to know about the recommendations?”
To one other question that report submitted D’Cunha reportedly beneficial for felony motion towards erring individuals and the irregularities amounted to about Rs 7,000 crore throughout Covid-19, Chief Minister reteriated “I don’t know the recommendations” and acknowledged “The statement by former minister D. Sudhakar shows guilt in him.”
