Minorities Commission evaluations tasks, receives petitions in Madurai

He reviewed the progress of varied tasks being carried out by the district administration and acquired petitions from the general public.
During a press meet, he mentioned a majority of the grievances had been relating to recognition of non secular lands and buildings in instructional establishments run by minorities. Also, a requirement for land allocation for cemeteries and kabristans was raised. The demand had already been submitted to the federal government, and it was being reviewed, he added.
Mr. Arun mentioned the fee was mandated to defending the rights of non secular and linguistic minorities. It was reviewing whether or not the welfare help stipulated beneath the Constitution reached the minorities.
Stating that the fee had up to now carried out evaluations in 25 districts, together with Madurai, he mentioned it will give suggestions to the State authorities for safeguarding the minorities and bettering their livelihood primarily based on the calls for raised by the individuals.
