Lahore: Pakistan’s Punjab province authorities has formally launched the ‘Wagah Joint Check Post Expansion Project’ alongside the worldwide border with India. According to the Pakistani authorities, the venture aimed to extend the sitting capability from 8,000 to 24,000. The value of the venture is PKR 3 billion and the deadline for its completion is December 2025. The venture is reportedly launched to match the sitting capability of the Indian facet.
